A political and business consultant, Paotie has lived throughout the Southwest most of his life. A native 14th generation New Mexican, Paotie will always treasure his home state, though he mostly misses the green chiles.
A doctoral student in public policy and administration, Paotie hopes to one day be a political consultant and/or published author. Many of Paotie’s works have been featured in some prominent web publications, ranging from MySpace to IMPNOW.com (for artists).
Paotie is also currently a Fellow in a Colorado political leadership fellowship program for community and minority leaders. Long an advocate for civil rights for minorities and deaf/HOH (hard of hearing) people, Paotie ultimately strives to educate the public about some of the issues that effect these groups.
When not on the computer, Paotie can be found in either a fitness or mixed martial arts gym (MMA). A huge fan of MMA, Paotie has spent time in Greg Jackson’s gym in Albuquerque with instruction from Jackson himself. Paotie also met Joey Villasenor, Keith Jardine and Rashad Evans while there.
Other interests include: golf, indoor sky-diving, snowboarding/skiing, X-Box and welding.
When spare time provides (or when the truck simply doesn’t want to behave), Paotie can be found tinkering endlessly on his 1977 Dodge RamCharger 4×4 truck.
Paotie is currently writing a non-fiction book.
